Melanie Castleman, our resident yoga teacher at Woodlands has spent 8 years living the yogic lifestyle, developing and teaching her technique.
Melanie uses intense pose sequences, compassionately taught, to develop skills in awakening each aspect of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual being.
Having just returned from a yoga adventure in India, she is accessing yoga from a place of love and understanding, encouraging others along thismagical life path.

Our Yoga classes are held in our Glass Studio – BODHI ZONE – which overlooks the river and is a unique setting in Muldersdrift which allows for an easy drive from Fourways / Ruimsig / Randburg. We accommodate no more than 12 people per class allowing for a personal attention between teacher and student.
Yoga at Woodlands helps you connect to your core - getting strong and centered. It uses therapeutic sequencing and deep breathing to sweat out toxins. The long holds in the pose progressions help you flush, oxygenate and rejuvenate every cell.
Our yoga is a fusion of Iyengar, Ashtanga, power yoga &, Vinyasa. Yoga does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires that you bring a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly.
